Information we do not request
Nagrik has no public registration, learner account, profile, messaging, upload, payment, subscription, or public contact-form feature. We do not ask learners to provide a name, email address, phone number, postal address, government identifier, school name, photograph, or payment information to play or read the law library.
The application's MySQL database stores educational material such as questions, answer choices, explanations, translations, and game scenarios. It is not a database of learner profiles or individual gameplay histories.
Progress kept on your device
To make the games continue between visits, your browser may keep the following information locally on your device:
- language and light-or-dark theme choices;
- experience points, best score, last game, and mastered lessons;
- city progress and completed game missions; and
- a temporary cached copy of public educational content.
This progress is not attached to an account and is not synchronised between devices. The theme preference may also be stored in a cookie named nagrik-theme. You can remove this information by clearing site data for nagrik.fun in your browser. Clearing it also resets locally saved progress.
Google Analytics
The production website uses Google Analytics to understand whether pages and games work well across different devices. Google Analytics may receive pseudonymous usage events, visited page URLs and titles, session statistics, traffic source, approximate geographic region, and browser, operating-system, screen, and device information. Its default web measurement can use a first-party _ga cookie containing a client identifier.
Nagrik does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other information that directly identifies a learner to Google Analytics. We use analytics reports to find broken pages, improve mobile usability, and understand which educational material is useful—not to create public profiles or sell learner information.
Google processes this data under its own policies. Read Google's Privacy Policy, its Analytics data-collection explanation, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may also restrict analytics cookies or requests.
Hosting, CDN, and security logs
Like most websites, Nagrik's web host and content-delivery or security providers may temporarily process technical request data such as an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser user-agent, response status, and security signals. This is used to deliver the site, diagnose failures, limit abuse, and protect the service.
These operational logs are separate from the educational-content database. Retention and security practices for infrastructure logs are controlled by the relevant hosting and CDN providers and their service settings.
Children and families
Nagrik is designed to be usable by children, families, teachers, and adults. The public app deliberately avoids account creation and user-submitted content. Children should not enter or publish personal information anywhere merely because a lesson or scenario discusses a real-life situation. Parents and guardians should supervise younger children's internet use and external-link visits.
Your choices and retention
- Clear nagrik.fun site data to erase progress stored on your device.
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
- Use a private-browsing session to reduce persistence on a shared device.
- Use Google's opt-out add-on or a compatible content blocker to restrict Analytics.
On-device progress remains until you or the browser clears it. Google Analytics and infrastructure data follow the retention settings and policies of those services. Because there is no learner account, Nagrik cannot retrieve or restore progress after local site data is erased.

We may update this policy when the application, service providers, or applicable requirements change. Material revisions will be shown on this page with a new effective date.
